Is the CPC (cost-per-click) the amount I get paid as the blogger who hosted the AdSense unit on my website?

I'm trying to estimate possible earnings but I am confused about the CPC.

CPC is the amount of money an advertiser pays internet publishers for a single click on its advertisement that brings one visitor to its website.
