Auto Blogging software- is it worth it?

Does google index the content? What if you include a link back to the original? I hear freshness of content helps; however, would this be considered fresh since it's someone else's content?

Don't do this... For Google such content is duplicated no matter you didn't copied it YOURSELF! The automatic blogging is the same. Better write UNIQUE content manually (or pay somebody to do it for you if you don't have time)

So I think we can see the popular opinion is that autoblogging shouldn't even exist more or less, now the question becomes "What are our options?"

Well Google doesn't treat duplicated content very well, but it does treat trendy content stupendular!

So run all those RSS feeds into a DB to peruse, and churn out some of your own content.

Just remember! Your site can have all sorts of style of even text content alone so don't be afraid to reintroduce a popular topic through a different media.

Autoblogging still works perfect if it's done in a proper way. However this therm is outdated. I prefer to call it content curation or content automation.

Anyways, don't spend the money on paid software. Try something for free and see if it works for you.

Personally I would suggest WordPress › CyberSyn « WordPress Plugins which is powerful, lightweight and easy to use Atom/RSS syndicating plugin for WordPress. The plugin is integrated with TBS (The Best Spinner) and allows one to embed videos from YouTube RSS feeds.

Few years ago I used "autoblogged plugin" and had great results ,now after all google updates I think is better for new sites to focus on unique content

No it is not. Google doesn't care if your content is unique or not. It uses UA analytics to determine if your site "is made for real people" or it is not.
