Google Ranking Advice

Hi,
I have a website which is build in wordpress and which is nearly 7 month old. I am targeting keywords which searches are above 27,000 exact match according to Google keyword tool. Which SEO techniques should i use to rank my keywords in Top 10 of Google.com and how much time does it required? Please help me out because i am new to SEO field.

Can i use link wheel?

    • I agree with him, that is the best place to start - but a lot to read

      Let me give you some quick ideas like summary :

      1. Make sure you will select some long tail keywords which have more searches per month on the Geographical area where your target customers are.

      2. Determine on how are you going to have the pages, what are you going to offer and categorize the pages and develop the structure of the site which is easier to navigate (for users as well as for search engines).

      3. Think about branding yourself. Make sure to have your brand on each page titles and go for on-page search engine optimisation. (You can read more help on this on above mentioned area).

      4. Once your design part is done and your website is launched. Brand your website on social networks, like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and etc.

      5. Start thinking of your link building strategy and social media strategy. [Browse above given recommended threads as well as Social media area of this forum that will help a lot]

      If you are not very clear, help hand from a consultant or freelancer who can guide you...
  • Build link pyramids: Tire 1 = blogs and Tire 2 = social bookmarks. Of course, build these manually on best domain names (yahoo.com, wordpress.com, quora.com, google.com, linkedin.com, facebook.com, etc.)
