Hi guys,

I am curious as to know how any of you dealing with the fitness/workout/(weight loss) niche are converting your traffic into €-$... I have tried adsense and clickbank and there are absolutetly zero conversion. 0.00 to be exact with CB products, and a few nickles from adsense.

I am getting 500-1000 (its still new and flailing in the serps a bit) uniques per day, with plenty more potential to grow. At least 10x as much.

I would especially like to hear from people who have dealt with the niche and have a track record of some sort.

Thank you very much for your input.

Sincerely, Buyseech

Honestly, I'm not earn much with this niche, but I could recommend this site which is converting well for me.

I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!

How about CJ, SAS, Linkshare, etc... promote a supplement company.

Not sure but how about training video's and food supplements.

Especially food supplements should sell I suppose.

You could also throw in some fitness equipment.

The best way is just trying, often it's more about the keywords that you rank for then the actual niche topic, if there are no buyer keywords that are ranking then it will convert poor and then you might be best of with something as simple as Adsense.

Does anyone suggest any particular offers with high paying % for food supplements?

Amazon and their 4-6% isnt that appealing.

    Thank you for any advice.

It is easy to convert with Clickbank, just try to optimize GREAT your website for the RIGHT keywords (a deep keyword research is required!) Also promote products according to their GRAVITY!!! With 1,000+ per day it is pretty easy to make 1-3 sales per day!

Adsense should yield 2,3,4 dollar clicks for your niche, I don't understand why you are making "few nickels". But as far as how to monetize there are a million options, affiliate programs, e-books, Amazon, Adsense, Adsense for Youtube etc.

Amazon sales some pretty expensive exercise gear, even at 4%-8% you can still make good money as long as you have sufficient traffic.

The clicks were more or less under 0.10€ let alone 1.2.3.$... And the CTR was appauling.

I have tried amazon, but the keywords are not buyer keywords or people searching for products etc.

I have another site in the same niche with buyer/product keywords and its making 10x if not 100x as much with 20% of the traffic.

I will have to split test all the possibilities i guess

That's weird, when I had a bodybuilding site a very long time ago and placed articles about working out and supplements I received 3 dollar clicks.

No offense & I'm not in the weight loss niche but with zero conversions on 500 - 1,000 unique traffic per day (everyday?), that's pretty sad.

I find it hard to believe CB doesn't have a product that converts in the weight loss niche.

I don't run CB now, sent them packing when they started with the fake quality score at the first of 2013, I still have an account. When I did run CB I was creating my own legit sales pages, then sending my traffic directly to the CB checkout bypassing the lame CB hyped up sales pages, worked pretty good & never had a single complaint from the vendor or CB, which was proof that the CB rating system they started at the first of 2013 was completely fake (zero charge backs or refunds).

I'm thinking the CB vendor probably hosed you with their squeeze page (squeeze page email optin, etc...).

Never send traffic to a CB vendor squeeze page, most are setup to steal affiliate traffic.

I think something is wrong with what you are doing. I think you have a decent traffic probably you just not have the right product. I think you should also include a post that promote a product or service. In the case of adsense I think you should try experimenting ad placement and I highly advice you stick with just two adsense space rather using all three.

I would try what netmatrix and nik0 said, try CJ with a supplement.. I've looked at forums from fitness sites (not a fitness person myself lol), but you should read what some of those muscle junkies say! They love their supplements! Nothing against that, I promise Read up on 'stacking supplements'.

If you are getting good traffic why not try using a PLR product i your niche and edit the content so it is unique to you. PLR is a great base tool when it comes to making information products and you will get a re sellers kit in with the package. This would usually include a editable sales page, graphics and articles to promote your site etc.

Selling your own product means you get 100% of the profits too.

You could always put links or ads in for the clickbank products you sell too.

    Good luck
