SeoMoz / Ahrefs / MajesticSeo?

I wish I could get the real recommendation from the real experts who have experienced with them.

I'm currently a SeoMoz Pro Elite Plan. I subscribe for a year, and now my subscription plan will be expired this month.

I wonder should I moved to Ahrefs Enterprise Plan or MajesticSEO Plantinum Plan or stay with SEOmoz?

Which one is the best among them? Please, if you have experienced or recommendation, I'd really appreciate. Alternatively, If you have another premium tools which are better than these, I'd welcome, too.

Regards,

RUN

Out of the 3 I think Majestic SEO is the best. I feel Ahrefs and SEOmoz miss a lot of backlinks. At least that has been my conclusion based on using these services.

I guess it would really be determined on what you use these tools for and how you do your backlink analysis as of course some will prefer certain metrics over others.

My best intention is to discover the backlins. I want the most accurate and updated one to monitor my competitor.

I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!

I think Majestic SEO is probably what you are looking for then.

        That would be my recommendation.

Ahrefs has the largest database of the three. Look for Matt Woodward's experiment comparing Ahrefs and Majestic. SEOmoz is not even close.

I was always a fan of Ahrefs, but recently I completely switched to Majestic.

Yesterday I checked around 250 domains, and each time Majestic showed the better results. Don't hesitate, go with Majestic!

With my own site I placed 60 high PR blog posts and Majestic recognized 59 of them while Ahrefs showed 52 so it seems Majestic is getting better or this is just a sporadic case.

What SEOmoz has that the others don't have is a fairly decent competition checker which I like quite a lot, however their back link database is nothing compared to Majestic and Ahrefs.

Personally I prefer ahrefs over the other ones. However if you don't use it on daily basis you can try this one Backlinks Analysis Ace . You pay ''per search'' instead paying monthly subscriptions and you can scrape majestic seo + ahrefs togheter.

Although Matt Woodward's experiment suggests ahrefs (quite the drama involved if you dig into it by the way), i have been finding that Majestic has been finding more backlinks than ahrefs in the past couple months in the areas that I am working in. Of course, if there is a way to swing both, then all the better. Totally agree that SEOMoz has been woefully inadequate in terms of backlink discovery.

I believe you should consider also Cognitiveseo , its gives you a very deep backlink and domain analysis, its not cheap but i believe its a great tool for SEO.

I am using it and its working like a charm.

Thanks God! It might be useful when I need a once time search, too.

As part of that drama, I totally agree. My initial experiment proved that. I didn't look in Matt's one as I simply lacked time. But I am still with Majestic and feel happy there

That's a tough call because I use them all and they all have benefits and drawbacks. If I had to choose only ONE, I'd probably choose SEOMoz, but that's because of other things besides just link checking.

In regards to link checking only, Ahrefs is probably your best bet although Majestic is solid. SEOMoz does have a new fresh links checker which is pretty good at finding recent links also.

Also consider limitations on querying their database and not just its size. Majesticseo seems to let you do far more queries on their lowest cost account than much more expensive ahrefs accounts. For some uses this is more important than showing every single link

I also recommend Mathew Woodwards article on ahrefs vs Majestic Seo.

I too ditched Seo Moz, as the results were dire! Now looking at ahrefs as my next BL checker.

Well, I might be performing an about turn!

I've been running some domains via all three, namely SEOMoz, Ahrefs, SEOMajestic. SEOMajestic seems to pick up most, with Ahrefs in second, and SEOMoz picking up the crumbs!

Iwould like to have a software to find and build backlinks and for site audit.

Can Majestic and ahrefs help me about this? Please do you knoe "buzzstream"? And what do you think about "webceo"?

      Thanks a lot

Ahrefs shows a lot more links than Majestic, but some results are not that accurate. For example, this is what it shows for a website I found on Flippa:

from my experiences, Majestic picks up recent links faster than Ahrefs, which would suggest they are updating their databases more frequently. I do use Ahrefs as well because I like some of he other features

If you're trying to see individual links Ahrefs has much better user interface for that. I like Majestics Flow Metrics and their price point, but dislike the reports. When it comes to quality of data I've seen some discrepancies. Sometimes when Majestic gets link profile wrong it's not even in the ballpark, but that doesn't happen too often.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.

In my experience Ahrefs is much better than the others. I see a lot of outdated links from Majestic, and the only times I've seen more links from Majestic than Ahrefs is when they screw up the indexing of sites and provide thousands of extra links from the same domain.

I have not yet used SEOMoz. I would truly say that Majestic SEO didnt perform that incredible to me when I subscribed, even the client underpin doesn't appears to give a second thought individuals that benevolent. I need to movement to ahrefs and check how cool they are. I may as well pick ahrefs as the best SEO tool in my work. You will get different thoughts from different people, so try once ahrefs.

I prefer ahrefs but since I love to look at what other tools provide me and I like to compare, I also use Majestic SEO. Having these two tools give me different results and the more info I have, the better (for me). These are my top two choices. I also used Moz before but not really on a daily basis.

Seomoz is just terrible. Don't get me wrong i am using the free trial each month using a different CC (shh don't tell them) but not for the backlinks. God no, its just awful for that but for the DA/PA and rank/competition checker.

I love majestic and ahrefs, can't live without either of them. Ahrefs has been very valuable for its anchor research (to see exactly the percentage of anchors i used for my keywords that ranked well) and majestic for the TF/CF. If i had to choose just one, it would be majestic even though it misses a few links than ahrefs, its still very comparable and the CF/TF has helped me tons on several occassions.

They have also added topical trust flow feature which is just a really awesome feature that alone makes up for the price.
