Why would you want to spam and blast?
Of course, you web2.0's will get affected as well (again)

then this now lead to the next question, does pengiun affect a particular page of the site or the whole website as a whole?

Just got back from a #BrightonSEO. I was given room 404 in the hotel I stayed at. Couldn’t find it anywhere!

Why build an income stream around a webpage you do not own? You could lose it at any moment. That would be my big worry.

That's nice. You've been lucky. But you have no control over web 2.0 business changing their business model, terms of service, or going out of business. Look at posterous.com. Huge web 2.0 property. They're now no longer hosting sites and everyone who has a web 2.0 site there is losing it. Take a look at the posterous.com home page.

There simply isn't any advantage to hosting a money site on a web 2.0.

Hey, none of us know everything, or even a lot, of Google's algorithms, so in general I understand people doing different tests to try to gain a little insight into things. You can never draw any concrete conclusions from one or two small tests, but they can't hurt (if you analyze the results with an open mind and don't try to read too much into the results).

With that said, I think it's already pretty well established that there's no advantage to hosting a money site on a web 2.0 property as opposed to hosting a money site on a "real" .com with "real" hosting. No problem, go for it, I'm just saying I don't think there's any hope of revealing anything new and the time and effort spent with this test would be better served picking a different test to try.

Google's Major Update is expected in next few weeks so avoid spamming if you need long term results.

ROTFLMAO! There are actually 2 web 2.0s that are
worth anything like what you want. Why would
you blast links to crap, and not a real money page?

According to me it's under the spam..If you want good & long lasting results then don't do this...But you can try it on your blog for experiment not for a website because it'll effective for a website...Hope you share your experiment here after doing..
