Does embedding your video on different sites increase where you come up on the youtube search page?
I know it helps get more viewers as people see these video's on sites that they are already on. (obviously not posting spammy videos)

    To be honest you can rank YouTube vids with straight spam, google doesn't seem to mind for some reason.

    • This seems to be the case for most of the higher ranking third party sites like YouTube, Facebook, Squidoo, and Hub Pages. With YouTube it makes perfect sense as they wouldn't want to penalize their own website.
  • Before you upload your video on Youtube.. upon saving it, I suggest you use the relevant keyword as its filename. I know that Youtube and Google does find this... the human eye doesn't.
