Should I add Adsense to a webpage?

Hi,

One of my Amazon websites is generating good traffic for a particular long tail keyword. It is at no. 1 position in Google. The page is a simple informative article. There are no affiliate links in that article. But there are site wide links.

So I was wondering if it is a good idea to add Adsense to that particular page only...

    Define good traffic.

For a long tail keyword, if you getting > 25 uniques a day, I'd say its good. Not sure, if you'd be able to make much from placing adsense on a single page, unless its a really high paying keyword.

It is generating around 40-50 uniques a day.

You probably won't make much, depending on what niche you're in, but it can't hurt to put adsense on the page. It's really easy to set up, and can't hurt to try.

You don't have much traffic (50), at 50 unique traffic per day with a 5% CTR (example) would only be 2.5 clicks average per day, so you'll need a very high paying niche to make decent money.

If you don't have any links what's the reason to have such a website??? Add Adsense and also try to monetize it with an affiliate link (if not Amazon, then any other program -> CJ, ClickBank, etc.)

Well, it is an Amazon site with my affiliate links. I do monetize it. I am talking about one of its pages...
