How to optimize site for google .se .nu .ca etc..

Hello,

I was wondering is there any way I could get my site ranking higher in different countries in google?

Right now I'm ranking pretty well in google.ca and google.com (5-8 positions). However, when I search for example google.se or google.br I'm way back behind.. Around in 30-40 positions.

    If you have selected North America as your preferred audience in webmaster tools, you could deselect it. Though this will cost you some of your N.A. visitors.

    Creating pages in the language of your targets would help you hit the keywords of those countries, or even a local hosted and languaged website for each area.

    We sell very well internationally, our secret has been to advertise in our target countries, though it doesn't help with SEO it does help with social media.
