  • High PR contextual backlinks from sites that are in your own niche.
Guest post's on sites that are in your own niche.
Social signals (not fake) facebook shares, tweets, pinterest pins, etc..

    Spreading my anchor text around...

    That's it really!

    No web 2.0
    No blog comments
    No article directories
    No spam!

It really is simple, create unique quality content and make your readers share your posts.

    • It is very important to make a weekly plan. Google always likes regular link building in a complete natural process.

Monday- I keep this day for writing 10 high quality original articles that I am going to use for building backlinks.

Tuesday- I crate 10-20 social bookmarking submissions in popular sites like stumbleupon, digg, reddit, pinterest etc.

Wednesday- I will use 5 articles in my own private network of high PR sites with proper anchor text variations.

Thursday- I will use another batch of 5 articles for guest posting in high PR niche relevant sites.

Friday- it is the day for building social signals.

Saturday- write 5 articles and use 4 articles for making web 2.0 blogs in wordpress; blogger, blog.com, tumblr, livejournal. Make sure you are going to feel the profile with pictures and use images within your blog so that I looks natural. It would be best to open the web 2.0 sites from different IPs. It will help me to avoid footprints. Now social bookmark each web 2.0 backlinks.

Now I have one article left and I will use it for doc submission in 2-3 doc sharing sites with call to action anchor texts.
  • Buy quality backlinks. Make them look natural. Deliver good content and target keywords that are highly searched but are poorly optimized by competitors. That's it, really.

    • I looked at the Fiverr gig in your signature. Are profile links really quality backlinks?
  • Now all that matters is quality content,
    Backlinks from high PR sites,
Guest Posting on high PR sites.
  • To rank a website, the off page techniques like, forums posting, social media, article submission, blog comments, guest blog, web 2.0 etc, are the best ways.

  • I'd tell you creativity. It's the only strategy to get succeed in any
    competive areas such as SEO.

You can't copy and paste streategy from successful people and
get succeed simply. All you need is only creativity and hard working.

  • Loads of non-commercial anchor text....
  • That's good conversation here. btw still could use the exact same link building techniques Nothing is changed on Penguin 2.0 aka 4.
  • I trust in Web 2.0 and Social bookmarking, rank very well!
  • I think after penguin 2.0 update there are two off page activities very useful like :-
    1. Quality of content
    2. Guest Blog Post
    3. Forum posts
  • Banned
    Mainly

    - Private network links.
    - Posts at a web2.0 network that is boosted with tiered links

    Besides that I do some:

    - video submission
    - infographic submission
    - citations aka local listings
    - social bookmarking at the top 10 sites
    - social profiles like Facebook / Twitter / Pinterest
    - image sharing links

Don't expect to rank when you ignore the private and the web2.0 network.

    • What site is on your Top ten - social bookmarking
  • guest blogging, infographics, broken link building method and old fashioned outreach to webmasters for links. These have always been solid, viable methods, and probably always will be.
  • Mine are:

Creating fresh content regularly and building slow link building.. if your site doesn't have much content and you are building too many links then you may get penalized as well.
  • 1. High quality content
    2. Guest posting
    3. Forum marketing

    Mine
  • There are many things when it comes to optimizing a keyword.
Your first of all you should have low competitive keyword, if you found some low competitive keywords then you would optimize them in less time.
More importantly, I would say that your site should have enough and quality content and you have to develop content regularly for better result.
you should also have quality back links as well so that you can get high rank.
  • Same as before quality links, manual method of submission.
  • Hi Guys, the most important part in Local SEO is the citation building. A citation is a reference to your local business. This reference includes your business name, address, phone number, and other relevant information to your business. Citations will also include links back to your website, thus fueling your link building efforts and higher rankings in the Search Engines.
I suggest belisted.org for all company owners or SEO agencies.

    • We've found that the most effective SEO strategy for long-term business is the same as it was before the latest updates as MatthewWoodward said. This is usually the case on most updates.

The first thing that you need to realise is that SEO is not a fast method of generating traffic. I know there are products claiming to generate thousands of uniques in ridiculously short timeframes using nothing but SEO. But, if this is possible then I have never found how in coming up for ten years online.

To make SEO work you need to consistant with your efforts and reliable. The anchor text needs to have not just keywords but variations of the keywords, random phrases and plain URL's mixed in.

You want to have your site properly setup for onsite SEO and then the links should be built from a variety of different properties, all of which I'm sure you've heard of before. You want to be doing article submissions, blog commenting, press releases, private blog network posting, web 2.0 profiles, wikis and videos. As well as those don't forget to link your social media accounts in and to be regularly posting on them. Don't always link back your social media to your site, link to other relevant content as well.

Content on your site is important. It should be regularly updated with high quality content and don't forget to link to other relevant sites as well.

It's commonly assumed that you need to have posts of at least 500 words to be effective with your content, and I used to follow this. However I have found this is not the case. We have a website that was started in January, no post is longer than about 300 words with the average at around 200 words and we are getting over 35k pageviews per month already. The key is to make the content relevant to your audience so they want to come back.

      Hope that helps

  • As i see it, adding relevant content on a daily basis is all that matters. Spend hours working on great content with good on page seo. Build good backlinks after that and have great things to say really.

I started a blog 3 weeks ago and i'm averaging one sale a day now just from google traffic. I never wrote on a blog before, never cared about Seo really and still i'm achieving that, so is this that hard people?

Stop thinking too much, do research and write content people love, you'll get there

PS: a couple of backlinks is enough if you target long tail keywords...
  • As a rule, I do not strategiy.Nuzhno constantly advertise wherever possible.
  • Start with keyword research, unique high quality link baiting content (I know I used a lot of adjectives lol), on-page SEO, then all that is left is link building which I try my best to make it look like I'm not trying :-)
  • I applied some of the strategies in Pat Flynn's backlinking article THE Backlinking Strategy That Works. I had an EMD for a low competition keyword and ranked pretty quickly on Google.

  • I call my enhanced strategy "Engagement SEO". Here are the steps:

    1. Website Fine-tuning (Making website user-friendly then seo-friendly)

    2. Site Engagement Boosting
    *lower Bounce Rate
    *increase time on site
    *increase user engagement

    3. Brand Building
    *brand mentions using social media

    4. Quality Linkbuilding
    *Guest Posting to relevant sites
    *Forum Participation
  • Silo structure with great content. Build links any manual way you can, but not automated.
  • HIGH PR backlinks.. When I create a new website:

    Submit to some directories.
Submit some pages to social bookmarking sites.
Take part in active forums in the niche (with signature!).
    Guest blogging.

Most times this is enough... And of course for instant traffic -> Social Media (Facebook & Twitter!)
  • Top article directories works very well for low competition keywords. But be sure to keep up your backlinking efforts. Do it constantly on a regular, predictable basis.
