How Unique Must a Site Be?

I am building a little affiliate and cpa site to promote a few products. I am writing much of the intro article and some other parts of articles throughout the site, but in order to save time, my sanity and money, I'm going to use PLR for most of the site and just tweak it to meet the site needs. I am going to promote using adwords and trying to get really cheap like 1 penny clicks. When I have some money to invest, I plan to start backlinking the site and getting it together for SEO. However, I know at that time, I will have to swap out a lot of the PLR.

How unique does a site have to be to place well in Google? Do I have to completely change the whole site? I saw somewhere that Google is only looking for 50% uniqueness as long as the site is quality. Like the original content and the plr content that's on there is not junky, spammy, otherwise keyword stuffed or useless and combined into a useful package for a searcher. Is this true?
#site #unique
  • This is an excellent question and topic to be discussed on. PLR is a great help for bloggers as well as affiliate marketers. You can post the same article with PLR to multiple sites but instead of tweaking the content as in changing the words here and there or the structure of the sentence it is highly recommended for you to ADD VALUE to your articles each time you use it on different sites. It could be your personal opinions or recommendation or just anything that suits the page you are posting and this way your page will have more of unique content sense. I hope this helps

That's interesting. I'm glad this is a better approach because it's actually more natural to refer to something interesting or good someone else wrote than to tweak it and rewrite it. Thank you for the recommendation.
