I just wanted to know how you are doing Viral Link Building? If anyone share his/her own method then beginner SEOs like me will not look for Spamming again. I just dont want to fill internet with craps rather I want to market my website which then will get backlinks naturally. Any insight?

PS: Also if you can then please refer me some WF threads and good ebooks where I would be able to learn viral marketing.

Dude do you keep on posting so much crap?

Social media shares are not 100's of totally worthless bookmarks at sites that people never visit.

It are links mainly from Facebook, Twitter and other prominent social media platforms and as all those links are nofollow they are hardly effective to rank for anything even slightly competitive.

To rank these days you need links from sources with a high pagerank, and then I'm not talking about the homepage of a web2.0 platform where your link ends up on some subdomain that will never see any type of juice.

I am talking about links either at high quality relevant web directories (mostly you then end up with paid featured listings of around $60/each), as the rest is still crap.

Or links at high PR domains that you own so you control the juice completely yourself.

Or perhaps resource/dealer pages from major brands, guest posts at authority sites and so on.

Obvious when the budget is small it can also be wise to outsource high PR blog posts but avoid crappy networks where they use massive spun and massive posting as those rankings won't last very long in most cases.

Yes. Just wanted to know how expert SEOs are building viral backlinks which in the end helping their site to rank high for specific keywords.

Your first step is to create something awesome. "Viral" doesn't just happen: you need it to provide massive amounts of value.

Once you've done that it's a matter of getting your content in front of as many people as you possibly can: email, social media etc.

If it doesn't go viral you can always email a bunch of people and get links (there's more to it than that, but that's an approach that works with enough email outreach volume).

Well if I build a website on a specific niche and then email to 300 subscribers on that niche you want to say the subscribers will start building backlinks for me? If so then I think the site in my signature already gone viral but honestly saying I am blasting emails but getting very few backlinks according to ahref.com

That's the right idea...but you have to ask yourself WHY someone would link to you.

Asking nicely usually isn't enough. You have to give them some sort of incentive.

Probably because your questions do not make any sense.

"How To Do Natural Link Building?"

Natural backlinks are not made by you, they are made by people who like what you have to share on your site. So there is no "How To Do Natural Link Building"

You do not know something is viral, until it viral.

No one is going to tell you. "How they do it". You would have more luck asking them can you come over to their house to screw their Wife. And both would certainly not be free of charge.

There is a forum search tool at the top of this page. Try using it.

And this whole thing is nonsense. I might be a little off topic but still. No one is an SEO "Guru". A "Guru" is Wiki Guru.
A Master or Teacher. No one here is a Master of anything, especially SEO. No one can be because We don't work off all the data available. We work off tiny little snippets of data through our own previous experiences and try work out, which practice gets better results. But there is no real science behind it to teach, because the rules are always changing.

And there is no real "Experts" either. Because again they are only working off of theories made up by the Gurus

      Your title is the problem.

How to build back links that go Viral? I mean really.

How to do natural link building? Link building is never natural so impossible to answer. You can gain links naturally cause people want to link to your site and that only happens if you have great content so your question should be:

How to write great content? Answer: go buy a book like "how to write engaging content - for dummies".

Besides the secret of most professional SEO's in the affordable budget range of $500-3000/month is not writing great content to achieve natural links but more buying high PR domains and theming them in the clients niche and then linking back to the client. And perhaps some emailing to webmasters offering link trades and finding relevant web directories, local directories and other stuff of that kind.

For ME, I get heavily involved with social media. FB/Twitter/Instagram/Google+

Main thing though is: Is your site THE SHIT. No I'm not talking about 700 words keyword density made for SEO bullcrap. I'm talking about, is it "THE SHIT." Will someone go on your site and be like "F yeah! I want to share this on FB. I want to put this on my blog. I want to bookmark this. I want to have a relationship with this person. I want to tell my friends about this site." That alone could save you a lot of time from marketing. Just cause your site speaks for itself.

Start with that. Then try joining relevant niche forums. Post frequently, and don't spam your link. But do be an expert in your niche. Really post as you know what you're talking about.

Post in Yahoo answers too. And again don't have a link for every post. Sure you're not getting "backlinks" BUT posting here creates more traffic, and POTENTIAL that someone that saw your post from these sites could possibly have a blog where they do decide to add a backlink to your site.

    Find relevant blogs/sites and do

Link outreach - send out e-mails with

    "Dear ____

blah blah blah blah blah would like to have a link on your site

    x, y , z"

    But yeah....other than that

    Be creative .

Thanks CGPaul. I think relevant forums are great place to bring quality traffic but the problem is it needs regular contribution. Well some extremely valuable threads might work for even years long.

You don't do natural link building. It's natural.

Unless you're talking about "natural" then Link Velocity + Link Diversity is key.

Yep, as someone else said above, use link diversity/variety. Previously where you might have inbound links to your site ALL with the same, exact longtail keyword phrase, now you want to swap that "main" keyword phrase out with some similar but non-exact longtail keyword phrases. Link diversity is one of Google's new theme's per Penguin... using the exact same keyword phrases over and over and over and... it will eventually lead to negative SEO. Link diversity is becoming pretty important these days.

What should be frustrating to many is that Matt Cutts warned about this well before they started implementing too emphatically... there are many who sat and waited to get hit by more recent Penguin updates and then said, "DOH! What the heck just happened???" When, if they had been paying attention and staying on top of what Google was saying, the mini-slap could've been avoided altogether via diversifying their links.

Lol, color me confused! I have NO idea what you're referring to in this post lonfore! Oh well, isn't the 1st time, won't be the last. I just have no idea what spending $10 at WF has to do with SEO and my "link-diversity" comment...

Oh well, no worries... God bless ya man!

Lol. I was not talking about backlinks which are artificially created rather talking about getting backlinks naturally. I meant complete White Hat. Still I do believe there is complete white hat methods which helps to grow backlinks naturally. But unfortunately most of us still approaching black or gray hat methods which are risky somehow.

Well you were talking about backlink manipulation as I am pretty sure you didnt read my OP and just trying to showcase your "sig link". No problem with SL as I love to see traffic through my SL but obviously I am not spamming.

Provide very high quality content that is useful and people will want to share with others. When I think of the websites/articles that I share its only very informational articles that I was unaware of.

As an example I might read something about "10 ways to spruce up old content to get new readers". If I feel that the information is beneficial I might include it in a blog post at some point. Also, if I am on a forum and someone asks about what to do with old content on their site I will link to that great post I found.
