Is guest blogging still working post penguin 2.0

I have been focusing a lot on guest blogs/articles for backlink purposes. I make sure the content is high quality and I am posting the content on relevant PR3 and up websites. I am also not keyword stuffing the articles and I don't use the keyword phrase as a backlink. Post Penguin 2.0 I am finding that my rankings are static or I'm actually losing ground. I was wondering if anyone was having the same experience? Is guest blogging still working post Penguin 2.0 and if so based on what I have told you is there anything I could be doing better to improved my success?

    You said you've been doing guest posting for backlink purposes. I don't really know how you define "high quality content" but as the general guideline stated, you should target real people in making contents.

    Now, I assume that you do guest blogging for mere links. Were you doing linking out on the past? I mean linking out to relevant and informative sources for further insights?

    Have you tried other methods in targeting your audience?

    Try to recalibrate your methods in guest blogging by making your posts more informative as possible by putting images, videos, infographics, and try to interact whenever somebody drop a comment to your post.
