Google Payday Loan Algorithm: Google Search Algorithm Update To Target Spammy Queries

Seems to be working, wonder how long before other spammy queries become affected? (online casinos, cheap viagra, buy wow gold, etc).

About time too. There's still a fair amount of spam out there but it's way better now than it's been for a long time.

I wonder though, will the spam sites with 10,000 backlinks generated in a day be detected before getting indexed, or will they rank then get caught?

This is interesting, a friend of mine works with a very prominent UK payday loan provider managing their SEO. Will have to get in toucha nd see if this has effected his client.
