Hey

Just wondering, this 1page website(more of a webpage) has a pr2, its just a lead generating page lol

Any thoughts on this? Does this show the size of your site isn't important for gaining a pr

    It's PAGErank, not SITErank.

PR is all about backlinks, not how many pages a site has.

Besides, pages have PR, not websites.

Hey Paul. I appreciate what your saying but for heavens sake this page has 5 backlinks according to majestic. And the page isn't even a proper page its just a scan of an image! Yes it has a title tag, h1 tag and that is all it has!

It seems a bit of a farce

Content makes no difference at all. A blank page could have PR if there are links there.

Majestic is only going to find about 20% of all the links that might be out there in most cases. All it takes is one link though and a page could be a PR 2, so 5 is more than enough.

That happens all the time. Why is that so surprising?
