Site not ranking for intended niche

Hello Warriors,

I've completed the on-page SEO portion for my site but I haven't begun much off-page SEO yet. However, in Google Analytics my site is showing search queries for a number of terms...but my targeted niche is not one of them. Any possible explanation for this? or fix?

    If the query is from your content then you have posted that content thats why people are searching with those keywords.

    Or it may be that few pages are optimized for those unrelated keywords..

      Yes they are long-tail keywords but my intended keyword is long-tail as well
