Bad Bing experience

When I try to login to my Bing Ads account today nothing happens. No error message, no "wrong password"... the page just refreshes without any explanation. So I contacted the friendly folks at Bing Ads support. Ugh!

After providing my name, e-mail address (twice), phone number, and login, I had to do a phone verification where I had to provide the answer to my secret question. Then they wanted my URL, what I planned to promote, the last 4 of my card (twice), and my full address so they could forward my "concern" to a specialist.

Although I kept telling them that ALL of this information was inside my account and seemed completely irrelevant to a login problem, they insisted that they could not investigate the problem without it.

We shall see if they can figure out the problem or if they call and request a blood sample and my college transcripts.

    • Just a garden-variety review site. And if they don't like it, that's fine, kill the campaign... but that shouldn't stop me from logging in at all - and if it does, I'd expect a message indicating there was a problem AND I'd expect the support folks to be able to tell me that without requiring every detail that they already have access too.

Just one of those days I guess. Thanks for listening to my rant.
