Is a page rank being faked if the page has a pr4 or pr5 but no Alexa rank?

PR has nothing to do with alexa. Millions of website owners
    don't even know it exists.

Alexa was something dreamed up by the folks at amazon to
further their footprint on the web. We all should do likewise.

Now, any normal person into even a little bit of internet
knowledge can spot fake PR. There are way too many
intangibles to tell why PR is legit or not. There is no
online PR checker that can't be fooled. But what's
the best way of telling fake PR? Common sense.

Now common sense might be one factor after considering
alexa. But you can't extrapolate anything tangible from
alexa. Only that amazon has done a dang good job of
    screwing with some webmaster's heads.

I go to SAPE and purchase a PR7 link for $10. My site is now a PR5.

Unfortunately, this doesn't mean I'm going to get traffic. If nobody visits my site with the Alexa toolbar installed, I won't get an Alexa rank. Simple.

Just got back from a #BrightonSEO. I was given room 404 in the hotel I stayed at. Couldn’t find it anywhere!

That's not anything I would ever tell people to do. Recently, rumors are
tha google can now track and burn. I dunno. I would not trust my
sites to anything in Russia...just saying.

SAPE is extremely good for short term projects that need to acquire rankings quickly. For example, when Gangnam Style was released, if you would have created an EMD and spent $200 on SAPE, you'd be #1 for a month. In a month, you could easily recoup that initial $200 and 10x more.

Where are you actually getting the links from? You don't speak Russian, do you?

No, I don't speak Russian, but it's not hard to understand the site and do a few translations. It works like any other network. You deposit funds, you buy a link and it's job done. The only problem is, they require passport scans usually for new sign-ups now.

Whoa. Sounds pretty ridiculous It's not like you're visiting Russia.

It sounds like you're saying these links are short term only. Did your rankings drop after some time?

You can't expect SAPE links to last forever. The links come from hacked (exploited) sites usually. In addition to this, Google has made it pretty clear that SAPE is on top of their to-do list. I'd be surprised if they haven't already built an algorithm to detect a SAPE network site.

Use SAPE for short-term sites that you can afford to get penalized and slapped. It's a good network for churn-and-burn sites like PayDay lending etcetc.

This is NOT a newbie questioN! I received the same question from good webmasters that rank very good for strong keywords... asking me in another forum if it is possible to have PR6 and Alexa ONLY 10,000,000... Of course it's possible. You can get a backlink from PR10 (of course not possible, but let's assume this!), you can get HIGH PR because of this backlink, but Alexa "shows" you the number of visitors to your website. So... If NOBODY visits your website through this PR10 website, Alexa will be N/a, but the PR will be PR6 or.. whatever PR it is...
-> So... PR and Alexa are VERY DIFFERENT each other!

There is no connectivity between alexa and PR. Better get some traffic and then expect some change in Alexa

There are thousands of rumors like this one. The quality of rumor is, it flows very quickly through the air and vanishes quickly too.

Even if you have a legit high PR, that doesn't mean necessarily you will
    get plenty of visitors.

You can build a PR 3 website about web design with the main keyword
"web design" but without any visitors because of the competition
among other higher pr sites that makes your site push to the second or
third page in search results without any clicks.

Alternatively you can build a PR0 site about low competion keywords
that a lot of people search daily with your site on the top of search results
    with plenty of clicks.

Alexa rank has nothing to do with Page rank.! Alexa rank is measured based on the website traffic while Pagerank is based on the backlinks to the websites. Entirely different things!

    The Answer is NO.
Because Google PR Stands on Unique Contents, Proper Meta description, proper use of Keyword, Back-links etc.
But Alexa rank Stands on only traffic.

So, High PR mean site has good contents, quality backlinks etc and No Alexa rank mean the site is very new or the site has a few traffic.

    Thanks

      No it doesn't.

Pagerank means that the page has been assigned a value of 1-10 based on the pagerank of incoming links from other pages. Nothing else.

Is it depends on only Inbound Link/ Link ? Not in fresh and unique contents ?
I think Google PR depends on firstly fresh contents and then Quality link.

PR is a result of links only. A blank page can hold PR.

Google's PageRank algorithm was leaked decades ago. Go and find it.
