Just a thought ...

Does anyone know of any software that allows you to type in a keyword and have it save all the results from answers.com into a text file or something similar ? That would be a very handy tool !

You could do a site:/intitle: search of answers.com with the Google search results set to show 100 results, then use SEOquake to scrape the page titles of the 100 search results, next export the 100 answers.com page titles from SEOquake as a CSV file to your desktop. Repeat for the rest of the search results per keyword.

Here's an example, the keyword is lose weight. Here's the Google search string intitle:"lose weight" site:answers.com

Here's the Google search results after scraping the page titles with SEOquake & a little cleanup of the CSV file results. Less than 5min. worth of work.

If anyone needs the code for having SEOquake scrape page titles, the codes below.

Go to: SEOquake icon (top right of browser) > Preferences > Parameters

On the parameters page scroll to the bottom & click on New..., paste the code below in the popup box. Click Ok on the popup box. Make sure the new Title parameter is checked, should be the last parameter on the parameter page. Do a search on Google & you should see the Title in the SEOquake toolbar.

[TITLE]=Title
[URL_R]={url}
[REGEXP]=<title>(.+)</title>

I noticed some sites won't show a page title for SEOquake (code above), those sites I've seen this happen on have their page title tags messed up or a large blank space on multiple lines in their pages HTML source code.

You can export a CSV file from SEOquake (screenshot below), then delete all the columns except for the Title column.

I use OpenOffice (free) for my CSV files.

BTW, you can scrape your competitions page titles for keyword ideas.

Quora, yahoo answers, answers.com are three good places for SEO or Branding. But answer.com doesn't allow you to contain brands in your answers, you should read the rules first.
