Increase Adsense Revenue Using Bum Marketing

I think I hae a lot of these here even before i started my first website whcih was recently.
The way I understand it is that you have to find the niche or the less competitive keywords or phrases and then write article about it. This type of article writing is what i called article marketing. Bum marketing to sounds like just the same.
Can you really differentiate the two?

Let's take two examples using the word "Internet"

If I target for the word "internet" itself at the time of this writting I have 2,620,000,000 competitors. Sure the chances of getting more hits is there, but are they really targeted hits? Does the keyword explain what people should be expecting when they arrive at my website?

Now, I turn on the "bum marketing" process and through careful planned research arrive at "history of the internet" with only 275,000 competitors. Plus I have the added bonus that people are more likely to know what to expect when they arrive at my site. I'd gladly take 1 highly niched visitor a day compared to 1000 haphazared visitors that have no clue why they actually selected my link. However, by the plan I have explained this number is still to high.

so I do some more research and arrive at "a short history of the internet" with only 3,500 competitors and an audience that really knows what to expect when they arrive.

Given the above information who would you prefer to receive as your traffic?
1. People clicking on the word "Internet"
or...
2. People clicking on the bum marketed keyword phrase of "a short history of the internet"?

Which group is logically and likely to stay on your website longer? Part of the algorythm of the search engines factors in how long people stay and or explore your website. Given that my site is a PR2 in less than 4 months from creation I'm liking the bum marketing process myself.

Also, since beginning this process I am ending up on the 1st page of Google against all other competitors with many of my targeted words. That's nothing but sweet in my opinion.

However, the truth is that I have left uncovered some critical aspects of bum marketing as of yet. Why? Because I'm hoping people really grab on to this concept first. It's critical to bottom line success.

Yes it does make sense.

The biggest difference from the information I have shared would be that bum marketing goes beyond "revolving his/her mind" to the actual facts of the situation.

You would be correct in not targeting "car insurance" because that has over 48 million competitors at the time of this writing.

Thinking this through with the conclusion of targeting "cheap car insurance for women" you arrive at 60,600 competitors and a market that knows what to expect. This is certainly good. But without researching the search engines first you are guessing at best.

However, with search engine research you arrive at "buy affordable car insurance" with 6,410 known competitors at the time of your writting. This number certainly will change, but by the time it does you'll be 100 bum marketing keyword niched articles down the road.

So the biggest difference from what I have shared is that I KNOW while you "think". Less than 5 minutes of work puts your knowledge and Google's history together to arrive at the optimum choice. That's really hard to beat in my opinion.
