Banned Domain?

I just brought a domain from Godaddy. For some reason I think it is a banned domain. I paid $40 for this.

Can someone take a look at it and confirm if it is a banned domain or not?

  • I don't think its a banned domain. It is a wordpress site with no content.
    40$ is too much for a domain. I hope you your site will come up with better content to make it succeed.
  • I just brought the domain, and I just added the wordpress site to it. I did a domain banned list check and my domain name came up.

      submit a reconsideration request via google webmaster tools, do not forget to explain that you have just purchased the domain name.

    Are you sure you aren't blocking the bots? Why are you using "WordFence?".. Get rid of it.

    • Icematikx is correct. Since you are still in the Google index your site is not banned from Google. That being said, it may still have an algorithmic penalty, e.g., penguin. Only way to know is to add content and start building links. That being said, Ahrefs only shows four backlinks pointing to the domain. So, in all likelihood you are OK.

  • Yes, it was most probably used before for SEO purposes so Google marked it already.
  • Have you bought this domain from bidding? Still this kind of domain is not worth spending 40$ atleast..
