Getting links from a sandboxed sites - good or bad?

I have two BLOGGER websites that got sandboxed about 4-5 months ago, both with PR2. These websites are in same niche like the actual websites that i have.
If i create unique articles and post on these 2 websites with a link to my actual websites (again, its same niche) it can affect my SEO or it will be good backlinks?

    How can a Sandboxed site be worth PR2? Isn't that a contradiction of terms?

    If it's worthy of PageRank 2, why is it Sandboxed?

      Just because a site has PR does not mean that it is immune from penalties.

      I have seen sites that were legit PR5's hit with penalties before.

      No matter if they have PR2 or ANY PR, the website could get sandboxed, blacklisted or even penalized. This is not a criteria, but I would avoid such websites, they won't be seen with good eyes by Google (if Google sandboxed 1 website, then there is anything wrong with it!)

    I think links from these sites is going to have bad effect on your website. AS these are banned websites, thus you should keep yourself away from it..

    What is your technique or How did you confirm that whether your sites are sandboxed or not?
    Any tool or technique..
