Hey I need your suggestion between 2 keywords

I am creating a brand new website and need suggestion on the URL structure i basically have 2 types of structure to choose from they are

1. www.mywebsite.com/article/detail/{id}/{keyword-go-here}
2. www.mywebsite.com/{keyword-go-here}/article/detail/{id}

Would either one of those 2 URL formats be better than the other? or in option 2 would have the keywords for the article closer to the domain name make a difference in ranking? any suggestion would help.

    I'm not sure how much it matters but I would definitely prefer option 2.... What comes after the domain name, and the keyword info, I would ignore and I'm guessing other would do the same. It just flows better...

      Go with number 2. It will carry more relevance for Google, and in search results your links will look better to searchers because the keyword will not look like an afterthought.
