why my ranking is dropping

hi Guys,
one of my keyword Surrogacy In India is dropping its ranking gradually last week it is 4th page now it is dropped to 7 th page although the compitition of the keyword is high but i am also optimizing it in a better way any one suggest me what to do to regain my rankings.

  • You need to be constantly working on SEO and exploring different SEO techniques. I have noticed slips as well on several sites, what I do is implement a new or varied approach to my current SEO plan.

    • You can do all of these. You need to do that for a week or two and if you see no changes, maybe it is time that you scrap the idea that your site will ever rank high.

      In that case, you need to look into paid advertising for your site. It may even be more profitable for you.
  • There might be many reasons such as you might have over optimized your keyword anchor text and Google penguin doesn't like that or your competitors might be doing good SEO or Google may be devaluing your good links after penguin which you created in the past.

    you can build some high pr backlinks,sometimes maybe a google dance
  • Optimizing your site does not get you on the SERP let alone retain your position.

    I think you need to do better with your off-site SEO.
  • I'd suggest you to not do what you're currently doing.

    After that, analyze your efforts for the keyword. Check keyword variation, unnatural linking and other various SEO factors.

    You have changed your strategy, flow in which you were working before?

    Or did you stop working on your site for few days?
  • Build Quality Back links and Focus on Content ..

  • You need to constantly be doing SEO or your competitors will soon catch up with you... it's part of the thrill. It might not just be about link building. What is the content on your site like? Is it interesting enough for users? you'll find some decent content tips here
