Hello :) new adwords user + question(s)

Hello to all 
First of all, wanted to say I've only found this site yesterday ! lol
but that kinda makes sense as am an adwords user for only maybe 1 week.. am very glad I found this place, loads of info !
I was experimenting a bit with adwords and trying to figure stuff out, affiliate with clickbank for the time being till I learn more regarding this field. I started out saying that I will invest 50euro and see what happens with the little I knew.
I found a product on clickbank, well actually a few products on clickbank and tackled them all at once lol.. I know, what a n00b.. hehe
well luckily after a day and a half, seeing the clicks I was getting but none converting into that wanted sale;
I promptly decided to terminate all campaigns one after the other.
I did some more research with keywords and tried to find a cheaper one, long tail as I noticed people calling them here.
So the money I lost in clicks in the beginning I'll remember as a lesson, wasn't much(luckily I did set a low daily budget); but still on my budget it can be an issue, hence trying to find more income.
So I basically launched a new campaign with less keywords, very specific to what I chose to promote, so without taking into account the $ I lost due to inexperience and excitement to make money.
After 15clicks on a new campaign I got my first sale today !
so am ''technically'' +$ now
I have been using direct linking though, what I wanted to ask is;
-Does using landing pages really help with the click/conversion ratio..?
-If so, know of any affordable but good web hosting I could use..?
and also..
-If I make a landing page, should I focus on only 1 product or also add more products as well (of course all related to the ad I got live)..?
Like a "review" of sorts promoting the one that I can make more money from as ''best'', ''top choice'' etc..
Also another thing I was thinking about is,
-If I make the landing page, do I just direct link them from my page to products and hope all goes well, or do I set it up that they can purchase the product from my page as well (direct linking to products buy page)..? and not link to the products site at all..?
Am sure that with time I will see what works for me and what not, I believe different things can work for different people.
However, I want to hear what peoples ideas are concerning this, especially since probably 100% of everybody in here is way more experienced
