Starting a blog with AdSense - your ideas?

Hi,

i would like to start a blog about [niche here] and put some banners (AdSense) on it.

I have several passions/hobbies to write about but:

a) it's all said in a few posts
b) the target audiences is small
c) i'm not sure if they even search for it
d) perhaps AdSense shows irrelevant ads on the blog (and with low cpc)

So i'm looking for the total opposite:

a) enough niche-news to write about
b) big audience
c) many search requests
d) AdSense ads that fit to the content, tempt the users to click, good cpc

Any ideas or suggestions? Please no "promote clickbank products"

Thanks,
NBG

You will have your blog and will be happy with it until Adsense bans your account... I suggest also Affiliate marketing although you wrote ("Please no "promote clickbank products")... But believe me, it's much more profitable... If you want quick money with Adsense, you should invest a lot in PPC and promoting for TARGETTED traffic...

      Interesting idea

Yep but not all topics lead to ads with high cpc.

You're making this to hard. If you have a hobby, go find a forum for it, pick one question per day and write a post about it.

Then go back to that same forum thread, use part of that of that post to answer the question on the thread.

Then tweet your link, share it on facebook, etc.

    Don't overcomplicate things.

There is always stuff to write about.

adsense is the bad choice in today's world. you may better make a blog on the keyword which have good CPC and high search results if you want to work with adsense else go with forum idea.

But this can happen with eBay, PayPal etc. too
i dont know about ebay but in paypal you can withdraw in less than a week but adsense pays after 45 days so very high chances of getting your hard earned money in dustbin..

so basically you're looking for someone to come up with a profitable business idea for you instead of using it ourselves... why exactly would we do that?

Just get out there and get started...no one's going to hold your hand in this. You're going to make mistakes, you're going to do stuff thats not profitable... and if you stick with it you're going to learn how to avoid those mistakes. No offense, but the people that are successful at this have made plenty of mistakes and have learned from them. If you want to be one of the successful ones then you're going to have to put in the hours and the work and do the same thing. If you're just looking for a step 1-2-3 plan to make quick money then you're in the wrong business and are wasting your time here.

The idea is cool but instead of AdSense try to go with CPA networks and Affiliate networks who generates more revenue than Google AdSense. AdSense need more efforts and back you in just some bucks. So first make a search then put your eggs in a bucket.

But this means i have to build my blog around products and i'm sure everybody elses promotes new clickbank products already. Also Amazon affiliating makes no sense because Amazon is always on number 1 of the serps.

This whole thread is just a mish mash of bad ideas gone gone worse.

Why not start a blog with adsense? Makes perfect sense.

Millions around the globe do it.

If you are worried about an adsense ban, man what on earth are
you people doing? CPA? Other crapola? You have got to be kidding...

I have 5 blogspot blogs doing just what you propose. All different.
I don't care about CPC because that comes down the road. You
cannot start anything and expect to get $10 clicks on day one, no
matter what the niche. But you can make a good little amount of
        money.

Google does not give a rat's @$$ as to what YOU think are relevant
ads. They place ads according to who is visiting your page, when,
        where, and how.

Adsense is not a get rich quick scheme.

The most important part is the keyword research. If you do your keyword research properly, you don't need to optimize your website too much(on-page and off-page).

Blimey, you are trying to jump before you can even walk. Forget about AdSense until your website is up and running and receiving plenty of visitors.

From a personal point of view, having a niche website does give you an advantage of being able to rises in the search ranking. After all, if you create a website talking about how to create a website then you've got so many other people to compete with. Having said this, there's not a lot of point in writing what you don't really know about, if you're knowledge is good then the content should be interesting and appealing to your visitors which in turn will encourage people to visit time and time again.

Keywords like 'car insurance quotes' and mesothelioma (or other rare medical disorders) are very hot high paying Adsense niches. Now you just need to put up blogs for those and get good content going and then put up your Adsense ads.
