Submit your site to social bookmarks using your selected keywords / tags, post in forums, submit articles, etc... there's a lot of things you can do..

no... just enter the keywords without quotes. It will be treat the same as if you added the link manually yourself using the a href syntax.

Choose the keyword, start submitting your site to directories, social bookmarking sites. Do some do-follow blog commenting on relevant sites.

Be sure you get backlinks from relevant and high pr sites.

I always hear keywords are great for your H1 and H2 headers, and not to forget about entering Metatags as well.

Basically any method you can conceive where you can create your own links (not spam) on sites that value your input. Then it's up to you to decide how to link back to your own sites.

I received an email from a webdesigner/consultant & she wants to backlink to my site. I think is great! I have all the details how she wants this setup.

My question I would like to link back to her site also. How do I go about doing that I don't want to look like a total dum-dum when I email her back. Please help? Thanks.

Use the keyword in the hyper linked text is one way. Also having the content linking back to your site relevant, is also important.

Use modifiers for your keywords..and use them as anchor text..The more unique titles you use the better..Because it makes your link building more natural in nature..All the best

I think you have to have more DOFOLLOW Blog comments as well as more social bookmarks on delicious & digg. That will be more helpful for you to get more traffic. Evenif delicious site is NOFOLLOW, there you can get more traffic. However, Digg is DOFOLLOW.

You can also use software like SEO Elite (if you own it) to look at the backlink structure of your competitors websites, and other relevant sites in your niche.

This will provide you with a stack of information about who is linking to who within you niche, and how many backlinks (and the quality of these) that the top site has.

You can then use this information to approach these sites and request backlinks to your site from them, in addition to acquiring backlinks from forums, blog posts, article submission, etc.

Only by answering that question can you move on to getting the links you need in a cost effictive (time is a cost) manner.

Simply use the keyword as the anchor link when you hyperlink backlinks toward your site.

When yo make a post, see that the URL and your keyword are bounded together(very close). And if possible see that you link the keyword to the site.

You should include your keywords in the anchor text of the back links. This is very important if you want to rank high for the keywords. As far as getting back links is concerned there are many sources. Social media sites work well for back links.

there should be a ton of blogs related to your niche. I'd suggest finding dofollows and trying to contribute constructively. You should be able to include your links and keywords when commenting.
