Hi guys i made a site few weeks ago and its running fine but i am having triuble with this google thing that my site does not appear in any of the search results. I figured quickly it was because too new, and also looked for solutions how to track and enhance the rankning. Then i found google webmasters tool used for better management. Now, I am in the middle of varification phase. I am going to choose html tag in the head part but google is recommending to use anaytics. I am personally using statscounter at the moment and wont need anaytics just for this varification. So do you think i need analytics for webmasters tool if there's more things integrated together?

  • No analytics is optional. You can use other methods during the verification process.

    • Thanks i got the idea now. I was curious to know if analytics is required other than just varification.

  • Well, Analytics verification is optional you can choose other verification methods. Recently Google added one more verification method "Google Tag Manager".

    • Yeah! I have used this. And it is another best way to monitor our site. Thanks for sharing information about "Google Tag Manager".
