How Can I Better Monetize This Site?

I can't seem to figure out a better way to monetize this site. I currently get around 1k visitors a month. Ranking 1 & 2 for a couple keywords.

Currently make around $7.00 a month on ad sense and $2.00 a month on Amazon.

    You could sell the domain in auction for about $11. That's probably not great, but it's $2 more than what your getting now so. Might be worth looking into.

    I would focus on one type of monetize strategy so it seems that adsense is working better than amazon so I would drop amazon off the site and focus on having only one or two adsense ads on the page and get rid of the email capture form. Your site is very confusing and what I should do and crowded.

      Thank you for the response. DO you really think removing the subscription box would improve it though? I am occasionally getting some emails which I plan to use for campaigns in the future.

    Hi Palermo1, (nice city you should change your top address bar. Home, followed by contact us doesn't look that appealing. Your writing is good, so why not at least put your blog after the home page on the address bar. And don't just call it "blog". You have decent ideas about resistance training so call it something like "Resistance Training Methods" rather than just blog.

    I see you have a google ad above your email capture. You need to decide what you want to do here. I can see you being confident and justified about building a decent list in this niche. You need to decide if capturing emails will be worth it for you. I'd definitely go down this route with a site like this, especially as you seem to know what you're talking about.

      I really like your suggestions about the top address bar! Are you suggesting I remove the google ad and just pick email capture? Does the google ad take away from the email capture?

        Yep, it distracts from email capture, definitely. You have to weigh up yourself whether this is worth it for you. Don't just sit on those emails either. Start working on a campaign to get them engaged, trusting and buying.

        Edit: your opt-in box could also be much more appealing than it is. Offer a free report on resisitance bands or something that you know about, rather that a flat subscription that doesn't really tell them what they're getting.

    Your site is good, just try to lengthen content part... optimize some keywords so that you would get visitors from search engines..
