##### Orignal Question

Hi

I want to find all backlinks of my competitors sites.
What are the options ?

1. Free ones ?
2. Paid ones ?
3. Is there anyone of this forum who can provide this service for cheap, like some price per site ?

regards

So based on the replies, here is the list of tools

1. http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/ - Partly free

2. http://www.semrush.com/ - Free

3. http://www.majesticseo.com/ - Full backlink report is paid

4. https://ahrefs.com/ - this one is interesting, it showed nearly all backlinks of my website as reported by webmaster tool.

As far as paid tools, there is Majestic, Open Site Explorer and ahrefs.com that charge a monthly fee. I use ahrefs and strongly recommend them. You can use Market Samurai which is a one time fee to find backlinks for sites however, that tool seems very slow to me and almost useless in this day and age. The one caveat I would give you is that you used the word "all".... meaning you wanted to find "all" backlinks for your competitor. The only entity who knows all the backlinks to a site is google... the tools I've mentioned are going to miss some for sure.

You should check backlinks with several tools, because no ONE tool will show ALL backlinks. On top of the suggestions Negotiator74 mentioned, there's also this one from SEMrush that just came out:

    SEMrush Tracking

Majestic SEO also gives a very deep look at backlinks. Is this for your own site or a competitor? If looking at where your own site's traffic is coming from, Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics will give you better insight than a backlink profile will, as a backlink might not actually get any use from humans.

Other solution is go to freelancer.com and find any freelancer who is dedicated to link building only, the work is really affordable!

You can use ahrefs.com and majesticseo.com for getting all backlinks of your competitors. These two tools are paid, you can use trial version but it is very limited. Better you can use paid version.

I have used both ahrefs and majestic and they are quite good. Ahrefs is a more affordable option if you havent got a large budget!

Did not use any paid version of any software but I really like the way opensiteexplorer shows the backlinks data. It shows each and every link even if there are hundreds of links within one domain.

You could try this: Backlinks Analysis Ace

It scrapes the data from Ahrefs (I guess) and the price is usually $1-$4 per site.

    Hope that helps.

Wow, now, THAT is a sparce site. No instructions, lol.

So, I can pay $10 via Paypal and then get 2-10 sites analyzed? Have you used it, or know it is reliable?

        I have used it,
You simply make an account, then run a "analyze". Once the analyze is completed you have opportunity to check the backlinks. As I said earlier, it's usually $1 to $3

Well, there are many tools to check back links. But none of them give the exact complete number of back links of a website. I will suggest you to use some of the backlink checking tools. Take data from all these and analyse these with each other.

    1. Google Webmaster Tools
    2. Backlinkwatch
    3. Ahrefs.com

A lot more are there you can find online.

    Thanks

You might want to check the backlink tool in WebMeUp which is now available at no cost. At the moment WebMeUp has the fastest growing index of links and over 15 billion of links are found and stored daily.

Besides the separate backlink tool, there is 'Backlinks' module in the software and this module lets you find all backlinks pointing to a website in question and perform in-depth backlink analysis by numerous SEO parameters - anchor text, backlink value, target URL, link type, domain age, hosting country and other.

Unless you work for Google there's no chance of detecting every single, indexed link.

The best tools we have are Ahrefs, MajesticSEO et al.

      Exactly this.

Those are by far the best two tools on the market right now (with a slight edge to ahrefs).

If you're serious about SEO then invest in these paid tools. No free tools even come close (at least at the moment).

You can use MajesticSEO. I find it more accurate and reliable than other tools. Market Samurai is another software that pulls their data from Majestic SEO.

Like what others already said, you can check your competitor's backlinks by using paid tools like Raven or Majestic SEO. There are free alternatives like Traffic Travis and Backlinkwatch (web-based tool). I think you can also use SEO firefox plugins too.
