How to increase web traffic from a certain countries or regions

We are a India based company and our target clients are from North America and UK.
How to increase traffic on a web-site from certain counties only ?
There is a provision in Google webmaster to set target country but it is restricted to one country only
Secondly we are looking at more holistic approach to getting traffic; not only from Google but also from all channels like forums, Social media etc.
All our efforts so far is getting us lot of traffic from non-target countries which is simply of no use to us.

Suggestions appreciated.

    You can either use PPC and set up your ads to appear in only the countries you mentioned in your post above or do a bit of keyword research using Google's keyword planner to uncover relevant keywords that potential customers in those keywords are searching with. Then optimize your site to appear in Google when those keywords are entered into Google.

    Hey,

    I would suggest investing into some paid traffic sources. Most of the time, paid traffic sources will offer you the option of geo-targeting your traffic so that you get the best results from whatever business or offer that you are promoting.

    Also, depending on which sites you publish your content, you should be able to get some free geo-targeted traffic as well. If you know of any social media sites, or other sites that are country specific, you may have some great results promoting there.

    Paid traffic is a great idea. Also if you are targeting all English speaking countries with a .com you should NOT set WMT to just one country. I've spent a lot of time in other countries and they will show plenty of .com's if someone is searching that country's version of Google in English.

    Use paid advertisement models like: Geo based Facebook advertisement or PPC add to get traffic from a certain countries or regions. For free traffic, promote your Google+ local listing, create local citation listings, directories, forums, blog commenting of that particular countries.

    This will definitely increase country specific traffic.

    PPC is a great option, then you can also choose long tail keywords with geo locations. Place them anchor texts and find some reputed websites to get links for. Rinse and repeat and you will see green with time.

    You should start building links from targeted countries websites only i.e build links from North America and UK countries.

    Now question arises how would you ensure that if the website is from North America and UK?
    It's simple look out for their server location, as Google too look for server location to determine the country of any website.
