Higher daily budget or longer campaign?

So I've had minimal experience using Adwords, Bing Ads, and Facebook ads. I realize I need to focus much more on advertising for my products so I want to set aside money every paycheck that I can use towards ads. I'll probably start with Facebook ads and have a budget of about $100 every two weeks.

I know it's not much but it's what I can afford at my current level. So my question is, should I increase my daily budget or have a longer campaign? I mean should I have a $10 a day budget for 10 days, or $25 for four days?

I know this is probably semantics, but just want to know from some of you more experienced in this stuff what you would do. Thanks

In the initial phases you want your account/campaigns to collect as much data as possible. It would be in your best interest to intially let your campaign run for 10 days or more if possible. More data gives you more information about how users are finding your products/services. Based off what you can see from this data you can better optimize your accounts, ad copy , budgets etc... Limited data gives you very little insight. Basic advice but important.

Also, if your selling products I would start on Google. People go to Google to shop or do research on a product or service. People go to FB to browse and do leisurely things. Allocate in the right areas and your spend will be efficient.

      Hiya,

Just a thought, what if you could as well invest on local community traffic via, freebies, flyers, banners and leaflets and slowly move it forward. Probably then start with global targeted campaign and during your offline campaign you can as well collect as much information possible from your visitor who is actually interested in your niche.

      Kind regards,

I like the offline and online approach listed here.

Thanks all, I'll be going with the longer campaign to start. What do you all mean by offline? My niche isn't really something I can do offline. I'd be wasting money and time with that so I'm focusing on online campaigns.
