Is it okay to do this SEO strategy? (Mass Geo targetting)

I am working on a service based business which is able to offer the service anywhere in the nation, I was thinking is it okay for me to do the following:

So for example purposes let's say I am offering Nanny Services (Nationwide) Minimum 100 Cities

Nanny Services in Rochester, NY
Nanny Service in Palm Spring, CA
Nanny Service in Kansas City, KA

Sniper Blogspot Blogs
We know sniper sites with similar name in domain work well, is it okay for me to do this using blogspot, and should I create a new gmail address for every 5 blogs or its okay to put like 100 blogs with same content but different subdomains using same loging, or if I want to do this, I need to create my own sites, blogspot aint going to work, and if not blogspot is it okay to do something like squidoo but will same content over and over result in a problem? Or should I just make these posts on my own site in blog, or thats a no no to panda? And what if its original content?


Youtube Video
We all know video ranks very well, so I was thinking of making one video and geo targeting it, is it okay to use same video over and over or it should be different. And should it be with different accounts.

Are these methods safe, I see a lot of companies do things like this, and they are ranked well, I'm just wondering because I rely heavily on google not for marketing but for its applications like goog wallet, and now i want to use google to generate some traffic as well.

    Your approach seems pretty solid, as for the YouTube Video aspect, no need to have multiple accounts but I would advise not using the same video, you can either make multiple variations or invest in a video spinner.

    Squidoo
    Or my own sites blog
    Can the content be same or it has to be different?

    Content should always be different, if your posting the same article/content on multiple platforms, it will almost always just stop being counted as quality and original. If you really want to do this mass geo targeting right, you should make the highly targeted subdomains, and also make squidoo pages if that's your thing. Just keep in mind, you won't get very far copying the same content but just changing the name of the location, that used to work but it is getting people deranked because of the extent of the copied content with very little changed.

    This depends on what you want your landing pages to do. are they sending the person to a larger site or are they signing up for it right there?

    If your sending them to a larger site than I wouldn't have much more than a link to it. Why do you need content for a service business anyway?

    If they are signing up right there then I would just have a few lines saying what you are offering whether that be with a video or content but I wouldn't have much more than 2 or 3 sentences and a optin form or buy now button.

    Content is strictly for the user so if your selling services on nanny and you have a 500 word article on some related people are going to look at all those words, get confused and hit the back button.

    Just think about what you do when you are looking for services online do you even click on blogspot domains? probably not

    Most people only trust what comes up in the listings or main domain names.

    Yes the point is that small stupid sites are taking the visitor to a bigger site which is where the user buys. So if in your guys opinion it is best to have sniper domains and not sniper sub domains....then I'm thinking I would go with only video for now. I am never shy of spending big bucks for marketing but lol this is literally 500 plus cities I want to geo target.

    I hear ya, it can get annoying making those 500 sub-domains all with content that is all about that particular city, but the end result could be really worth the work.

      Thank buddy for constantly answering my dumb qs, but hey I have NO idea what exactly do you mean when you say subdomain:

      Subdomain on Main Site?
      Subdomain through blogspot?
      Or real sniper domain?

      And for other people chiming in, don't think in terms of Organic SEO, cause that I don't know how to do, this is Local Geo Targeted City by City SEO....

      Looks like the end conclusion is that there are no ifs and buts when it comes to content, no matter what it should be original, as far as video it still works...
