Disavow Tool

Hey, has anyone ever used the Disavow tool? I'm about to use it. My question is in regards to uploading the list/excel sheet. Can I provide just the main domain? Or does it need the EXACT URL as to where the link is coming from?

      Hmm yeah I want a link removed because the overall site is shitty/dangerous/malware/porn etc. So maybe I can just provide just the main URL?

      At times, I can't find the "Exact" link. Only thing that's provided for me is the main URL. And webmasters only give the top 1,000. And so I have to manually look for it, but I have to go through 100,000+ URLS.

  • So what exactly are you saying when you disavow one link?

    "I didn't put this here or I don't want it?"

    • You put it in an excel sheet and submit it in webmaster to that's it
  • They say it is better to cut the whole domain and it should be placed in TXT

  • I have not used disavow tool. I am not going use it unless I get any bad link pointing warning in webmaster tools.
