How did i get on the 1st page of google?

I am at a loss for words. Here is the situation. I did some research on my niche and bought a domain. I have placed wordpress on it but have yet to complete the site add content, adsense, affiliate links, backlinks, etc. All the things that you would do to get a site up and running have it ranking on google, all of that I have not yet completed. But guess what? When I type in my keyword for my niche in google my site (my very uncompleted site) is the 4th result in google. It was 5th last week and now holds the number 4 position. I have no clue how this happened or what I should do. Is it real? Should I just take hold of it and do all the stuff that would get my site making money or is something else going on? I dont want to miss out on my opportunity if one is there. Please Help!!!! What should I do?

    You're probably seeing personalized results, use a free keyword rank checker to see your real ranking, it's probably not #4 on page 1 with no content and no links unless you've got a EMD for a very low competition keyword.

    If you receive traffic to that domain means it's real. Everything can happen. It happen also to me, I chose "get paid to watch porn" keyword, set up EMD but not on wordpress, I crate squeeze page by my own, bookmark it and leave it. After one month I start getting leads (CPA offer).
    Sometimes I even don't understand what Google do and how he rank sites.

    You should check in your stats... if any keyword is on first page and if it has good number of searches then you would get some visitors being on first page anywhere..

    Or the best way is clear your browser cookie, then check again!
