How to go from page 2 to 1 easy comp?

Hi,

I am targeting low competition keywords, which go straight to page 1-3.

What type of links should I build to get these to page 1 and how many to start off with etc?

so web 2.0s?
Social bookmarks etc

    Let me know please!
    If they are going straight to those positions, write 5-10 quality articles about the niche and then build internal links to those articles, and some to your domain name too. You should not need to many links, so concentrate on getting good quaity links by maybe guest posting on high PR blogs and anchor texting back to your site. Good luck!

    Andrew you got to do better.

    Moving from position 2 to 1 is harder than moving from 20 to 5.

    You have exhausted virtually all the basic SEO such as web 2.0 which isn't effective anymore or rather takes more time.

    Get links from real high pr sites and no fallacy.

    You have to do all activities but follow google guidelines when you doing off page activities. Means submit your website to high quality website. It is hard to get in first position, becoz for page 1 to get too many competition. So what ever you done must according to guidelines. Today best SEO off page techniques is web2.0 Submission, article submission, guest post submission.

      Depending on the competition, high PR links may be the best route to go. A lot of smaller keywords can definitely achieve #1 rankings without them though, so make sure to do your keyword research thoroughly before wasting too much money.
