Hello everyone. I have a Facebook Fan Page of over 5,000 fans.
This fan page is for my website which sells a physical product.

All of my fans are Real.

I'm wondering, what can I get my fans to do for me, which will help with my website SEO. Since there are so many of them, I'm thinking I might be able to get them do something that could indicate to google some kind of importance....

This probably sounds sketchy, I'm not looking to be spammy about it. But thought I'd ask around.

Thank you

  • You can post things that are non related to your product to become more "Personal" with them(Like asking for opinions on a certain subject or product). I'm not talking about everyday but just once in a while.

Most people don't like to see a lot of product posts popping up on their feeds unless it's something that people absolutely love

Just make daily post, maybe with funny meme pics of your niche. You can include a link to your site in every post, that should increase your website traffic (social traffic). Which does effect your seo, Google loves seeing social traffic.

You can post off the topic sometimes, I mean not about the products. Share with them what you do, where you go, where you went out for a holiday, upload pics. Try to build good relation with your fans.

So long as your FB page is related in to your SEO business, if you were to publish your blog posts from your SEO business's blog, once these posts are likes and/or shared, this will send a social signal to Google that the blog post and related website are trending, which will in turn help your Google rankings.

However, if your FB page is not related to your SEO business, do not do this. You want the content which is published on your FB page to always correlate with the reason why users liked the page in the first place.

    Hopefully this helps

If you are truly, honestly, wondering what 5,000 FB fans
can do, then you have the answer. Absolutely nothing.

The vast majority of people don't care or don't know that
they are "fans" of something on FB. Fans are pretty much
useless. Better to have an active group.

True to some extent but not really.

That is how 99.8% of bands or artists make money through selling merch, Facebook.

Depends on the what your fan page is for really. Don't really see the need for an Affiliate Marketing fan page but like you said for that it would be way more beneficial to have a group
