One Great Link Or Many OK Links

That is my question I bring guys. I know the answer is both, but if you had to choose, would you pick a link coming on from something like say a local newspaper site for a local business, or 5 links from different smaller sites?

I really am just wondering which has more percieved value to you guys.

    as of today, number of link is just a small factor in ranking. 10 ok vs 1 great is different. 1 great links can give you a pale of traffic, boost of ranking and search engine exposure.. its like this, Facebook post vs ok bookmarking site which of the two will give you an exposure to search engine? definitely facebook
