Need help with adsense

So Im extremely new to adsense I just posted the code I created and no ads came up when I looked at my site? am I doing something wrong? or does it take a few to get ads on there?

  • Thanks For replying. yeah I didn't realize that I wasn't showing my ad to advisers and it started displaying fine for me to thanks

    The ads will take some time to show up but if you're talking about the blog in your sig... the ads are up!
