    After trying out Keyword Planner, i must say that it is just like and updated version of the current Keyword Tool. The interface is a bit different and some people might be confused by it at first but after tweaking around a bit you will surely get used to it.

    Still, there are a few things that they need to improve before it can completely replace Google Keyword tool.

    That scared me for a second there. I thought they just removed all keyword research tools!

    But the keyword planner doesn't look too different from the original research tool, the interface just feels more clunkier to me.

    And from memory for some keywords, it looks like everything is in terms of exact matches now.
