Overall my websites have experienced a decrease in about 15% of CPC (Google Adsense) and one of my niches has seen a drop of about 80%... Anyone else seeing the same?

I think you are experiencing the summer slow down. I could be wrong, but people are out more in summer and it is summer in the majority of internet traffic (North America) so bids for ads are not so intense, so prices will go lower, thus you will get less for clicks on your sites.

    Just a theory.

In North America, summer is often the period from the summer solstice (usually June 20 or 21 in the Northern Hemisphere) to the autumn equinox (around September 22).

The summer season in the United States is commonly regarded as beginning on Memorial Day weekend (the last weekend in May) and ending on Labor Day weekend (the first weekend in September).

    Some niches are seasonal.

Or possibly an advertiser in your niche stopped running a campaign that was paying well.

I think that Tim is right on that because in the summer times the traffic decreases, and in August I have noticed that the traffic goes down even further. It picks up in September- by late september usually.

Same here. I have not even tried anything remotely close to grey hat. Just throwing this out there....Google just had a down quarter in their latest financial release last week. Why not tweak some variables and smart price a greater percentage of the publishers to get back on the record profits track.

This constant changing algo is really getting tiresome. I am finding their search results are no longer turning up the best results. If it keeps up, people will start using Bing!

I signed up for the adsense for publishers "Learn with Google" course. What a joke! It took them four weeks to finally get their presentation to work without any technical difficulties. Been on top too long and letting their guard down now. They need to get their shit together.

I don't think people will start flocking to Bing like that, but I can see how it is annoying and odd. This happens almost every year. Most niches that you wouldn't think are seasonal, are totally seasonal. This should be evening back out in a couple months around the start of October, I think everyone experiences some sort of down time, loss, or just weirdness in the middle of summer.
