Niche Sites vs Authority

Hello,

If someone was to make 100 niche small sites and rank them with low competition using EMD etc,

Would it be better to just have one site on Health for example with low competition posts on health keywords?

Whats your opinion and why,

  • If the niche sites are along the same vein as your authority site, couldn't you just crosslink to them from the authority site? That way you've got your established niche sites and they'll give you a boost in your authority site's rankings once traffic starts to flow.
