Keyword help - 137,000 Results, 18,600 in quotes, 315 in title, 207 in url, £10,000 per sale

Hey guys,

Posted this in offlineforum, but you seo'ers probably do more keyword research and are maybe better suited to reply.

Wages went in the bank today and i'm going to be starting my first leadgen site to rent out... Id just like your advice.

Basically i have found a local keyword with 137,000 Results, 18,600 in quotes, 315 in title, 207 in url and an exact match domain is available.

The average service cost is £10,000 - £20,000 per sale and the keyword gets 320 phrase and 57 exact match per month.

The top result has 87 in links and many of the other results are yellow pages ads.

Would any of you kw experts target such a keyword?

Also from your experience would it be easy to rank with good on page seo and obviously a few high pr backlinks?

    I'd be more asking the question. Are you set up to sell the product/service? You say 10-20k per sale, so you can take it that, that purchase will be made offline.

    Run your keyword through the SEOmoz competition analyser and you know a lot more, or if you don't have a subscription there (most likely) then go to Open Site Explorer and check the DA/PA of the top 3 results as anything below that will hardly bring you any traffic with just 57 exact searches/month.

    Btw not sure where you pulled the number 57 from as the Adwords keyword tool doesn't supply such specific numbers.

    The fact that there are multiple yellow pages ranking can mean that there is not much competiton for your phrase, but to purchase an EMD domain for that...

    Thanks for the reply.

    The da is 16 and the pa is 27. As for the specific metrics in the keyword tool, it doesnt show on the pc bu when i search on my smart phone it does.

    Also there is another exact match keyword which gets 22 searches which could take me up to79 monthly searches.
