What Are Some *TRULY* Legit SEO Companies?

I'm not looking for Black Hat SEO or anything that's likely to be seen negatively by Google. I really just want an SEO company that will get be a modest increase in SERPs with the most legitimate links possible. Is there anybody around providing that kind of service?

    Not wishing to pee on anyone's fireworks but, these days, I seriously doubt if you could really call ANY SEO company 'legit'. Google have made it quite clear what they want and what they don't want and, beyond proper titling and tagging of your content, they want no attempt at manipulating their rankings which is, after all, what you are talking about.

    I work with Search Marketing and Optimization Firm - SEO - SEM -The Search Agency but that's on a corporate level though.

    Guys , I'm learning so much just by working for a corporate clothing company as an SEO link analyst. . I can't wait to share this once I get my site/own company going.

      I've been seeing one guy on here (no names) that keeps trying to ride the Moz coat tail (brown nosing is annoying).

      Not saying you would do this, just venting, lol.

          Most people have learned some stuff from Moz and seen some stuff thats off from them as well. Only Yukon hates on all things Moz. Their new analytic tool is looking sweet

    Whitehat vs Blackhat is dead.

    If you're building links to manipulate the Google algo (which you are) then it's not legit.

    So back to the original question - there is no such thing as a "legit" SEO company in my book.
