Move a post?

Hi,

I have a small Niche website with 1 page which is ranking 14 on Google,

I am now in the process of creating a authority site, can I delete the content from the 1 page site and then just put it on the new site or will it still need a brand new unique article regardless?

  • Google will know it was originally published on another site. But so long as you delete it before republishing, then maybe it won't be such a big deal. Mostly the Google Panda algorithm devalues copied content giving preference to the original source so there are not 1000 copies of same information on the web ranking high.
