High CPC but no site with ads and no promoted results on Google. Weird?

Hi everybody,

Quick question, I've found some really interesting high CPC keywords (>30$) but when I search for the keyword on Google, none of the 10 first results display any adsense ads; and google itself don't promote any search results for that keyword...

Is it normal? I mean, with such a high CPC, i would expect some websites at least to use adsense and Google to show some ads in its results...

  I'm always cautious about adding Adsense to sites because maybe I'm paranoid but I always seem to think that the sites slightly get penalized for it. If the ads are high cpc then why would the big G want to share the revenue when they can have it all for them selves.
