Hi All,

I realize the importance of having a blog/content to increase visitors to your site, but the insurance carrier I currently work with will not allow me to use a blog. What would be the next best strategy to increasing visitors to my site organically.

Thanks

Use video marketing. Recording videos should take much less time than writing high SEO articles. YouTube gets special authority from Google and it's much easier to rank videos than articles. You can drive much traffic form videos. To strengthen it, post/share your videos to Facebook or Twitter. Each "like" and retweet will tell Google that your video is something. That would strengthen your videos, meaning more visitors to your site. Hope it helps!

You do not need a blog to rank a website. That is silly IM'er mindset. Most insurance websites are almost never going to change their content.

The insurance niche is pretty competitive. You are going to need some really good links to rank, even in just a local market. If you are targeting just a local market, you also need to understand local SEO. It is different than regular SEO, and focuses more around building citations than links.
