Adwords question: Ad position by country

Hey guys,
I hope you're doing well!
Up until this last week I have been showing my ads to only searchers in the USA, UK, Canada and Aus because these are my main markets. Three days ago I opened it up to be world wide.
Since then I noticed that my average CPC dropped and my ad positioning went up. I guess this is because there is less competition on search engines in other markets.
Here's the thing though, in the US, UK, Can etc I was hovering all of my ads at around the 3 - 4 position. Now it says they are at 1-2.
Are my main markets still around 3 - 4 even though it says 1-2 for world wide average? How can I see the ad positions for specific countries?
