To Index Links or Not To?

Hi,
I am doing some video ranking on youtube. I have already hired an SEO company to do the link building for me.
I was wondering if it was necessary to hire another company to index those links or whether they would surface on their own.
Any advice is appreciated from those who have been there done that.

  • Indexing links is the most stupid SEO scam I can imagine! If your SEO company is worth the money you are paying for their services, they should be expected to get your links on reputable sites which are crawled on a regular base. If you use an "indexing service" you are telling Google nothing else than this links are not natural/spam - do you want that???

    • Google will automatically index your links if the quality is good and relevant to your niche. You won't have to do anything additionally in order to index your backlinks.

  • One of my friend in Warrior forum already said indirectly that you shall make good links which can be crawled and indexed automatically thats it... Making 1000s of crappy links donot make sense anymore after animals came in market.
  • Don't ever pay for indexing. The only possible time it is good to manually ping Google and the other search engines is when you are just starting your site and you want them to know you exist.

    It is better to just do that through webmaster tools anyway though, so I guess it is NEVER good to pay for indexing!

  • The era of using paid services to do indexing jobs is long gone with the wind because nowadays through establishing strong links, search engines including Google will sooner or later find and index your documents. If even after using lots of links nothing happens, this means there are either huge problems with websites or those acquired links are almost invisible across the net, in other words they are worthless. Even a few strong links would be enough even in competitive fields to have pages indexed and even ranked.

    • Paying for links to a youtube is a scam as well.

      If you need your links indexed, and I can't really say WTH
      that actually means, then your links are lame.

      If the page the links are on are indexed, then I can't imagine
      what "index my links" even means.

      And if the pages are not? Well, then what's the point?

      Building links to links is the dumbest thing this side of what
      MS been putting out as of late.
