SERP For One Keyword Disappeared - Google Dance?

Hey guys,

Hopefully one of you guys can shed a little light on my situation.

I recently created a website for my wife and all of my target keywords were ranking quite well and beginning to climb up the pages on google.

Many of my secondary keywords are going good most of which have gone from pages 5 & 6 up to page 2. However my primary keyword steadily climbed upto position 4 on page 1 then suddenly disappeared.

I know it's not my site being de indexed because so far i have only one main page and all of my secondary keywords are still climbing.

Plus for my primary keyword I went straight to the B spot on google places.

Any idea what could have happened? Is it google dance? Does g dance affect single keywords?

Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Stephen

It probably is. It goes from 1 to page 7 sometimes then comes back. You can try to find out where it currently is with some position checker but hopefully it will resume its position and good thing that you went for Google places. That will get her a lot of local clients

      Hey,

Thanks for the info, the problem i face with rank checkers is that the business name is my main keywords so it throws up my places listing lol.

Guess i will just have to wait it out a while.

      Regards,

      Stephen.

Sounds like the Google dance to me.

With new sites I often find I start building high PR links then I get a massive bump in Google, then a day later the site is gone from the results.

Then 5 or 6 days later it is back in a higher position than before.

I'm sure your site will return any day now.
